NEW YORK, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 54 km WNW of San Antonio de los Cobres, Argentina at 18:36:00 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 194.6 km, was initially determined to be at 24.11 degrees south latitude and 66.84 degrees west longitude. ■
