BEIJING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Fiji Islands Region at 1221 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 590.6 km, was initially determined to be at 21.78 degrees south latitude and 179.10 degrees west longitude. ■
