RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is seeking a new club as he prepares to part ways with Sao Paulo for a third time.
The 34-year-old's contact with the Tricolor Paulista is due to expire on December 31 and he has been told he is no longer a part of the club's plans.
According to media reports, Pato has attracted the interest of Turkey's Adanaspor, though his preference is to remain in Brazil.
Pato spent just 158 minutes on the pitch and scored two goals after joining Sao Paulo as a free agent in May this year.
The center forward previously represented the six-time Brazilian Serie A champions in 2014-15 and in the 2019-2020 season, scoring 47 times in 133 games during both spells. ■
