HANOI, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam cut retail prices of gasoline and other oil products on Thursday for the fourth consecutive time, local media reported.
The price of E5 RON92 per liter was cut by 509 Vietnamese dong (0.021 U.S. dollars) to 21,290 dong.
RON95-III petrol price was cut by 668 dong per liter to 22,322 dong.
Diesel prices dropped by 475 dong to 19,721 dong per liter while kerosene slightly edged down 194 dong to 20,922 dong.
The changes took effect from 3:00 p.m. local time Thursday.
The ministries of finance, industry and trade that adjusted the petrol prices decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilization fund.
Since the beginning of this year, Vietnam's petrol prices have been adjusted 35 times. (1 U.S. dollar equals 24,284 Vietnamese dong).■
