BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 56 km east of Marihatag, Philippines at 1032 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 43.2 km, was initially determined to be at 8.75 degrees north latitude and 126.81 degrees east longitude. ■
