JERUSALEM, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Israel and Germany on Tuesday signed a multi-year cooperation agreement to jointly promote energy and cybersecurity projects, the Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure said in a statement.
The agreement was signed during the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
In the energy field, the agreement includes cooperation in energy efficiency and security, facility protection, and the expansion of renewable energy infrastructures with an emphasis on the electricity grid, electric vehicles, and hydrogen.
Regarding cybersecurity, the agreement includes several collaborations, such as knowledge exchange and the set-up of a joint situation room. ■
