China-U.S. scientific collaboration is not only mutually beneficial, but also important to the advancement of the world knowledge, said Niels Peter Thomas, president of Greater China and managing director of Books, Springer Nature, in a recent interview with Xinhua.
Research collaboration between China and the U.S. remains strong across all the fields tracked by the Nature Index ranging from chemistry, physical sciences, earth and environmental sciences to biological sciences and health sciences, Thomas said.
"In the end, research knows no borders. This is why bringing them (China and the U.S.) together helps both countries and helps the whole world to advance."
