BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Maug Islands region, Northern Mariana Islands at 11:58:17 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 20.02 degrees north latitude and 145.40 degrees east longitude. ■
