ISLAMABAD, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's national women's cricket team will compete in two different series in New Zealand next month, said an official on Thursday.
Head coach Mohtashim Rasheed said in an online video message that the national team will engage in three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against the host nation from December 3 to 9 in Dunedin and Queenstown, New Zealand.
Following the T20I series, Pakistan's 17-member squad, led by captain Nida Dar, will face the hosts in three One-Day International (ODI) matches in Queenstown and Christchurch from December 12 to 18.
The ODI series will be part of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's Championship, the coach added.
Rasheed expressed confidence in the team's preparedness, saying they have had productive practice sessions and games. However, he acknowledged the difference in playing conditions between New Zealand and Pakistan, hoping the players would swiftly adapt to the new environment. ■
