MANILA, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- A Cessna plane with two people on board, including the pilot, lost contact after taking off in Isabela province in the northern Philippines early on Thursday, local media reported.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said it is checking the report about a plane that "lost contact."
"The report status is (about an aircraft) that lost contact, so we cannot make any statement as of now," CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio told Xinhua in a text message. ■
