BEIJING, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Peru-Ecuador Border Region at 1259 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 176.8 km, was initially determined to be at 2.02 degrees south latitude and 77.14 degrees west longitude. ■
