HONG KONG, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Papua New Guinea Region at 07:10:17 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 9.58 degrees south latitude and 148.71 degrees east longitude. ■
