LILLESTROM, Norway, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- The "Van Gogh Alive" exhibition, held from Nov. 14, 2023 to Feb. 11, 2024 in Lillestrom, Norway, is a multi-sensory art show that celebrates the work of Vincent van Gogh, a renowned post-impressionist painter.

Lillestrom is a city about 25 kilometers northeast of Oslo, the capital of Norway.

This exhibition doesn't display original Van Gogh paintings. Instead, it uses a high-tech, immersive approach to showcase his work: Van Gogh's paintings are projected on large screens, walls, columns, and even the floor, offering a panoramic visual experience.

Born in 1853, Van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter, whose life and artistic journey captivated the world. He died in 1890 at the age of 37.
