HANOI, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam cut retail prices of gasoline and other oil products on Monday after two consecutive increases in late October and early November, Vietnam News Agency reported.

The price of E5 RON92 per liter was cut by 340 Vietnamese dong (0.014 U.S. dollars) to 22,270 dong.

RON95-III petrol price was cut by 390 dong to 23,530 dong.

Diesel prices dropped by 1,060 dong to 20,880 dong per liter while kerosene edged down 790 dong to 21,510 dong.

The changes took effect from 3:00 p.m. local time Monday.

The ministries of finance, industry and trade that adjusted the petrol prices decided not to use petrol and oil price stabilization fund.

The latest adjustment brought domestic fuel prices back to the same level as in February, according to the report.

Since the beginning of this year, Vietnam's petrol prices have been adjusted 32 times. (1 U.S. dollar equals 24,385 Vietnamese dong).
