HONG KONG, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted New Ireland Region, Papua New Guinea, at 07:43 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.92 degrees south latitude and 150.73 degrees east longitude. ■
