GAZA, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Sources in the Ministry of Health in Gaza told Xinhua on Saturday that the Israeli army has besieged Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City amid violent clashes with Palestinian militants.
The sources said that the Israeli army targeted all roads leading to Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, besieging it from four sides.
Eyewitnesses said that the tanks were moving deeper into different areas of Gaza City, where clashes were heard in many areas. ■
