MAPUTO, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- More than 1.2 million households have gained access to electricity in Mozambique in the past three years, President Filipe Nyusi has said.
Nyusi made the announcement at the inauguration ceremony of an electrical grid Thursday in the northern province of Nampula.
He said that the newly inaugurated grid will benefit 700 more families, stressing that his administration aims to achieve access to electricity for all Mozambicans. ■
