ISLAMABAD, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- At least 14 soldiers were killed when terrorists targeted security forces in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, an army statement said on Friday.
Two vehicles of security forces were ambushed by the terrorists when they were moving from Pasni City to Ormara area in Gwadar district of the province, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
Sanitization operation is being carried out in the area, the ISPR statement said, adding that the perpetrators of the heinous act would be hunted down and brought to justice.
Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, it added. ■
