QUEZON CITY, the Philippines, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- As the most populous city in the Philippines, Quezon City is striving to be a leader in climate change mitigation and sustainable development as it observes the World Cities Day on Tuesday.
The World Cities Day, which is celebrated on Oct. 31 annually, aims to raise awareness about global urbanization and push for global cooperation in sustainable urban development.
