BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Colombian President Gustavo Francisco Petro Urrego will pay a state visit to China from Tuesday to Thursday.
Petro, male, 63, served as Colombian congressman, senator, and mayor of Bogota. He was elected Colombian president in June 2022, and inaugurated on Aug. 7 that year.
This will be his first state visit to China. ■
