ROME, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Inter Milan staged a second-half show on Saturday, beating Torino 3-0 in Serie A with three players on target.
After a goalless first half, Inter went ahead on the hour mark when Denzel Dumfries rolled across from the right, Marcus Thuram hit in a first-time strike.
Lautaro Martinez doubled the lead minutes later when Francesco Acerbi tapped a corner for the Argentinean to head in before Hakan Calhanoglu converted a spot-kick in the dying minutes.
With the win, Inter Milan temporarily sit on top with 22 points, one point ahead of AC Milan who host Juventus on Sunday.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's brace boosted Napoli to beat Hellas Verona 3-1 away, while a pair of strikes from Felipe Anderson and Luis Alberto helped Lazio conquer Sassuolo 2-0. ■
