CAIRO -- Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said on Wednesday that the Egyptian government and Egyptian Red Crescent will supervise the delivery of aid to the besieged Gaza Strip in coordination with the United Nations.

BAGHDAD -- A booby-trapped drone crashed on Wednesday near an airbase housing U.S. military experts and agencies in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, the regional Counter-Terrorism Service said in a statement.
The drone crashed and detonated at 12:18 local time (0918 GMT) in an open area near Harir airbase outside the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdish region, without causing casualties, the statement said, without providing further details about who launched the drone or how it crashed. JERUSALEM -- Israel's wartime cabinet decided on Wednesday that it will allow passage of basic humanitarian aid from Egypt to the besieged Gaza Strip.
Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced in a statement that "Israel will not obstruct humanitarian supplies from Egypt as long as they consist of only food, water, and medicine for the civilians located in the southern Gaza Strip." (Israel-Gaza-Humanitarian Aid)

GAZA -- At least 471 Palestinians were killed in a blast on the Al-Ahli Arabi Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night, said the Gaza-based Health Ministry on Wednesday.
