BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- The 6th Taihe Forum was held at the Palace Museum in Beijing from Monday to Tuesday, with a focus on international collaborative efforts in the conservation of cultural heritage.
The forum was hosted by the Palace Museum, the Forbidden City Cultural Heritage Conservation Foundation, and the Chinese Society of the Forbidden City.
During the event, over 10 guest speakers exchanged their views on the role of international organizations in promoting cultural heritage conservation from the perspectives of institutional development, talent cultivation, and academic achievements.
They also shared examples of international cooperation projects that promote cultural heritage conservation.
As part of the event, domestic and foreign participants conducted an on-site visit to inspect the conservation endeavors at the Palace Museum and its latest technological achievements in cultural heritage preservation.
The Taihe Forum, initiated by the Palace Museum in 2016, serves as an international collaborative platform dedicated to promoting exchange and cooperation in cultural heritage. ■
