NEW DELHI, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday said it recently carried out a successful test of its surface-to-surface version of the BrahMos missile.
"The IAF recently carried out a successful test of its surface-to-surface version of the BrahMos missile near the Eastern Seaboard archipelago," IAF in a brief statement said. "The missile fire was successful and the mission achieved all its objectives."
IAF also released short videos of the test on its social media platform.
BrahMos missile is a medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile capable of being launched from submarines, ships, fighter jets or land. ■
