TEGUCIGALPA, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Honduras manager Reinaldo Rueda has named 13 foreign-based players in his squad for back-to-back CONCACAF Nations League matches against Cuba, the Central American country's football federation said on Friday.
Among those included in the 26-man squad were Bordeaux forward Alberth Elis, Leiria striker Bryan Rochez, Montreal forward Romell Quioto, Hatayspor winger Rigoberto Rivas and Minnesota midfielder Kervin Arriaga.
Honduras and Cuba will clash in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, on October 12 before meeting again in Tegucigalpa three days later.
Rueda's men are currently third in their six-team Nations League group, a point behind leaders Jamaica.
Honduras are currently 77th in the FIFA world rankings while Cuba are 169th. ■
