HANOI, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- An interprovincial coach crashed into a truck in the same direction and then another coach in Vietnam's southern Dong Nai province on Saturday morning, killing four people and injuring five others, Vietnam News Agency reported.
The coach of Thanh Buoi coach company, carrying 34 passengers and steered by a 37-year-old driver, bumped into the truck when it was trying to overtake the truck in Dinh Quan district, and then collided head-on with a smaller coach carrying eight passengers driven by a 33-year-old man.
Initial investigations showed both coaches oversped when the accident occurred. Local police prosecuted the case and detained the 37-year-old driver to investigate the act of violating road traffic regulations. ■
