HANGZHOU, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- India and Malaysia secured golds in the men's and women's squash team events respectively at the Asian Games here on Saturday.
Malaysia defeated Hong Kong, China 2-1 in women's team final for the title.
Falling short of the gold medal, Chan Sin-yuk of Hong Kong, China couldn't hold back her tears. "I was a bit nervous today, and my performance wasn't up to par. I rushed in the first two rounds, but we gave it our all," Chan said after her match.
In the men's team final, Pakistan and India engaged in an intense battle as India's Abhay Singh clinched a hard-fought victory in the final round 12-10, leading India to the gold with a total score of 2-1. ■
