CAIRO, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- A beauty contest of purebred Arabian horses was held in Sharqia province of northern Egypt on Thursday.
The beauty contest is part of the programs of the ongoing three-day Sharqia Arabian Horses Festival, which started on Wednesday and featured the participation of 104 Arabian horses.
The elegance, beauty, and spirited gaits of the Arabian horses have won themselves warm applause from the audience.
