BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- The 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum will be held from Oct. 29 to 31 in Beijing with a focus on key cooperation areas under the Global Security Initiative, a defense spokesman said on Thursday.
Wu Qian, spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, said this year's forum will provide all parties with an equal opportunity to express their views on advancing security cooperation.
Established in 2006, the forum has grown into one of the world's most important security dialogue platforms, said Wu, adding that official representatives from over 40 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation. ■
