HANOI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam attracted nearly 20.21 billion U.S. dollars in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from the start of this year to Sept. 20, a year-on-year growth of 7.7 percent, official data showed.
A total of 1,924 projects with a capital of 10.23 billion dollars were newly registered during this period, a year-on-year increase of 66.3 percent in the number of projects and 43.6 percent in capital.
A total of 2,254 new projects worth more than 10.23 billion dollars were granted investment registration certificates, an increase of 66.3 percent in the number of projects and 43.6 percent in capital compared to the same period last year. ■
