ISLAMABAD, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested seven drug traffickers in various operations across the country, an ANF spokesperson said.

During the operations, the force seized over 115 kg of drugs including hashish, opium and heroin, while impounding several vehicles that were being used for smuggling, the ANF said in a statement on Monday.

A total of 64.8 kg of hashish was recovered from two vehicles in two operations in the suburbs of federal capital Islamabad, the ANF said, adding that the drugs were concealed in the secret cavities of the vehicles, and four smugglers were arrested during the operations.

In another operation at Bacha Khan International Airport in the northwestern Peshawar city, the ANF recovered over 100 heroin-filled capsules from the possession of a passenger traveling to Dubai, the statement said, adding that the passenger was netted.

Separately, the ANF recovered over 35 kg of narcotics in an operation in Sheikhupura district of the eastern Punjab province, and arrested two persons.

Meanwhile, 15 kg of narcotics was recovered in two operations in the northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
