HEFEI, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- During the ongoing 2023 World Manufacturing Convention in Hefei City, east China's Anhui Province, various enterprises like SeeYA Technology, BOE, and Visionox have showcased new display products that have become attractions for visitors.
Micro-display is a display technology with significant development potential. It encompasses VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), MR (mixed reality), and other interactive near-to-eye display technologies. It allows users to immerse themselves in a 3D space and experience a world similar to reality. Despite the small size of the screen on a micro-display device, its pixel density is over 10 times that of a computer screen.
In recent years, many cities in China have been increasing their investment in research and development of the new display industry. In Hefei City, a state-of-the-art industrial cluster in the new display field has been established. The city's exceptional business environment has attracted many enterprises to settle down here. The new display and integrated circuit industries have emerged as key growth drivers for other sectors including new energy vehicles, smart home appliances, laptop computers, and wearable devices.
