BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 50 km NNW of Rabaul, Papua New Guinea at 0111 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.80 degrees south latitude and 151.95 degrees east longitude. ■
