JAKARTA, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's Central Java and West Java provinces are experiencing drought in the current dry season, with the bed of some lakes and reservoirs drying up and being barren.
According to the country's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, the El Nino phenomenon which started in June is the major factor causing the current dry season to get drier and longer in the Southeast Asian country.
