HONG KONG, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 jolted Philippine Islands Region at 1103 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.45 degrees north latitude and 121.12 degrees east longitude. ■
