KABUL, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- The engineering team of Afghan Air Force (AAF) has repaired more than 70 aircraft and made them ready for flight within the past two years, local media reported.
"Our maintenance has repaired approximately more than 70 aircraft and helicopters. Some of the helicopters and aircraft are still under repair," TOLOnews quoted Abdul Ghafar Mohammadi, the AAF's commander, as saying on Sunday.
In late August, the country's Ministry of Defense also said that its engineering team had repaired 100 military vehicles in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan. ■
