MEXICO CITY, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Raymundo Fulgencio scored a first-half brace as reigning champions Tigres UANL romped to a 5-0 home win over Queretaro in Mexico's Liga MX on Saturday.

Gignac went from provider to scorer as he converted a 49th penalty before Juan Pablo Vigon and Nicolas Ibanez added second-half goals to guarantee Tigres their fifth win from seven games this campaign.

The eight-time Liga MX champions lead the 18-team Liga MX Apertura standings with 14 points, edging out second-placed FC Juarez on goal difference. Queretaro are 13th, seven points off the pace.
