BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- With 100 days to the 16th World Wushu Championships to be held in Texas, United States during Nov. 16-20, the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) announced the official medals and mascots here on Sunday.
According to IWUF, the international wushu governing body, more than 1,000 athletes and coaches from 80 countries and regions will compete in the top-level world event.
"We are glad to meet top wushu athletes in Fort Worth, Texas for our most elite signature event. Our wushu family will joyfully reunite with full global participation after the three-year pandemic," said Zhang Qiuping, secretary-in-general of IWUF. ■
