MANAMA, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Bahraini government on Tuesday launched the third version of its commercial registration system that features new and improved e-services to facilitate investment, the official Bahrain News Agency reported.
The launch of the system, named Sijilat 3.0, was announced by Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro at a press conference held in the capital Manama.
The minister said Sijilat 3.0 is introduced to further improve the services provided by his ministry to enable investors to manage their businesses easily and from anywhere.
The new system, with an automated guide, a dashboard that displays all commercial records and a collection of new e-services, facilitates access to services after reducing the steps by 60 percent, according to the report.
The first version of Sijilat, an integrated electronic portal, was introduced in 2015, and the second version was launched a year later. ■
