MADRID, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Valencia's American international midfielder Yunus Musah flew to Italy to complete an AC Milan move thought to be worth around 20 million euros.

Musah is the latest player to abandon Valencia, which narrowly avoided relegation to the Spanish second division last season, and was only saved by a tentative reaction under coach Ruben Baraja.

Musah follows Edindon Cavani out of the door, with the veteran striker joining Boca Juniors on a free transfer, meanwhile the loan deals for Samuel Lino, Justin Kluivert and Nico Gonzalez, who were all vital in Valencia's survival, all ended in June.

Kluivert has joined Premier League, Bournemouth, Lino has returned to Atletico Madrid and Gonzalez signed for Porto after FC Barcelona decided he could move.

Marco Andre also looks set to leave before the start of the summer, but financial fair-play limitations mean that Valencia can't use the money from Musah's signing to make new signings.

That leaves Hugo Duro as the only recognized striker in the Valencia first team, and although B-team players such as Diego Lopez and Alberto Mari performed well at the end of last season, Baraja's squad looks weaker than 12 months ago when they stayed up by just two points.
