NEW DELHI/ISLAMABAD, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Monsoon rains hit India and Pakistan, causing great inconvenience to people's daily life.
The rainy spell took a heavy toll as heavy rains destroyed homes, damaged infrastructure, washed away crops and left people dead or injured in the two South Asian countries.
