BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League (CSL) club, Chengdu Rongcheng, announced on Friday that they have finalized the signing of 28-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder, Andrigo Oliveira de Araujo.
"Andrigo frequently pierces the opponents' defense with his accurate passes, setting up scoring opportunities for teammates," Chengdu Rongcheng said in a statement.
"His inclusion will bolster our team's strength and depth," the statement added.
The Brazilian player reportedly joined Chengdu Rongcheng on a €580,000 deal. However, the club has not released any details about the contract.
Currently, Chengdu Rongcheng occupies the third spot in the CSL table with 30 points from 16 games, trailing seven points behind the leaders, Shanghai Port. ■
