BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will pay a state visit to China from Monday to Friday.
Tebboune, 78, served as Algeria's communication minister and housing minister, and took office as the prime minister in 2017. He was elected as the president of Algeria in December 2019.
This will be his first visit to China as the president.
He is married and has five children. ■
