SHANGHAI, July 15 (Xinhua) -- The Shanghai Museum has extended its opening hours and will hold "Shanghai Museum Night" activities every Friday from July 7 to Aug. 20.
In order to boost the city's night economy, the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism launched a "Museum Night" event, with a total of 17 cultural venues extending their opening hours during the summer vacation.
These museums will also hold special exhibitions and educational activities and launch cultural and creative products to create a new style of cultural tourism.
