PHNOM PENH, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will attend the 56th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) and related meetings in Jakarta, Indonesia from July 11 to 14, the country's foreign ministry said in a press statement on Friday.
His attendance will be made at the invitation of Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, the statement said.
Themed "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth," the 56th AMM and related meetings will center the discussions on exploring innovative approaches and means to further advance the ASEAN Community building process while fostering greater unity and solidarity of ASEAN through concrete actions.
ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) groups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. ■
