Ahmed Elfanah from Egypt is now learning doubled haploid (DH) technology of wheat breeding at Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
As a beneficiary of the Talented Young Scientist Program under the framework of Belt and Road Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation Action Plan, Ahmed Elfanah wants to improve his skills, and learns something new to do something beneficial.
“I think if we introduce the DH technology in Egypt, we can revolutionize wheat production in our country, we can increase yield and income is high,” he said.
