LONDON -- An eight-year-old child was killed after a car crashed into a school building in Wimbledon, southwest London, the Metropolitan Police (Met) said here on Thursday.

LAHORE -- At least nine people were killed and over 10 others injured during the last 24 hours after torrential rains hit Pakistan's eastern metropolitan of Lahore, said the rescue department on Thursday.

TOKYO -- A minitruck struck and injured three students on Thursday after breaking into an elementary school in northern Japan's Miyagi prefecture.

JAKARTA -- Two people were killed and 12 others injured in a vehicle crash on a toll road in Sragen regency of Indonesia's Central Java province on Thursday.
