Higreen Market, located in the capital city of Nanning in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is currently the region's major wholesale fruit market, with its annual trade volume of fruit of about 1 million tons and the annual turnover of about 6 billion yuan. The market sells both domestically-produced fruits and imported ones, particularly those imported from the Southeast Asian countries.

According to the staff and vendors of Higreen Market, the sales of Southeast Asian fruits are growing rapidly. From January to May in 2023, the total trade volume of Southeast Asian fruits in the market increased by 49.46% year on year, hitting an all-time high, with the imported durians in the limelight.

Known as the "king of fruits" in Southeast Asia, the durian has gained increasing popularity among Chinese consumers due to its rich texture and unique flavor. The imported fruits from Southeast Asian countries also include dragon fruit, mangosteen, watermelon, mango, and longan fruit.

Invested and operated by the Guangxi Higreen International Agricultural Logistics Co., Ltd., Higreen Market officially opened its fruit trade area in June 2011, with its fruit products selling well not only in Guangxi, but also in its neighbouring provinces of Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangdong.
