Huanghua Port in Cangzhou, north China's Hebei Province, opened two new container routes on Wednesday.
The two routes included one connecting Cangzhou with Russia's Far East via east China's Qingdao Port and the other with the ports in Quanzhou and Xiamen in east China's Fujian Province.
The route to Russia operates once every 10 days, mainly carrying goods such as cars, auto parts, clothing and textiles.
The domestic route offers services every week, transporting goods including urea, coal and stone materials.
