CAIRO, June 27 (Xinhua) -- From the poverty-stricken Gaza Strip to the crisis-hit Lebanon, Muslims in the Middle East are busy preparing for the upcoming festival of Eid al-Adha by buying sacrificial animals, sweets and fruits, despite the rising prices and harsh economic conditions.
Eid al-Adha, the biggest Muslim feast also known as the festival of sacrifice, will be celebrated on Wednesday, or the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic year.
